If you’ve never visited LumDimSum. You should. Ms. Lum is a girl about town who actively blogs about her experiences around Beijing at some of the hottest places and with the hottest people in town.

Round 2, fight!

Lush won against Maison Boulud in the first round of The Beijinger’s Burger Cup, but now we need your help to win the next round. Please click the link and vote for Lush! (Round 2 voting ends on Monday morning!)

In Round 2, Lush faces a new brand of competitor. Home Plate is a fairly new restaurant, but being new, they have a shiny, baby-fresh reputation and the popularity that comes with being the new kids on the block. Lush has been servin’ up burgers for almost 8 years, and almost everyone who’s come through Wudaokou has created memories, partied it up, and partaken of our awesome food at some point in their Beijing careers. Pyro phone lines are still down! (August 11th)

Hey guys, so sorry to have to post this message, but the Pyro phone lines are still down today. The telephone company has scheduled Friday morning to repair the phone lines, so if all goes to plan, we’ll have our delivery guys on their bikes delivering piping hot pizzas to you by tomorrow afternoon. Again, very sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey hungry pizza people!

Our sincere apologies, but there was a fire in a restaurant located in the same complex as Pyro Pizza that took out the phone lines for the entire building! The telephone lines were supposed to be repaired this evening so we could get pizzas out to all our hungry fans, but then Beijing decided to pour down torrential rains – so the telephone repair people haven’t completed the task yet. If you feel like making the trek down to visit us, we’re still making pizzas, and we definitely want to make those deliveries, but for now the only way to make that happen is to order in person.  We’re very sorry for the bizarre combination of circumstances, but we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can!

Vote for Lush for The Beijinger’s Burger Cup!

Hey all you amazing Lush-ies? Lush-in-knights? Lush-ese? Lush-ians? How about this… Wudaokou Warriors, unite!

As you may or may not know, The Beijinger magazine is throwing a contest for Beijing’s favorite burger, called aptly, the Burger Cup,<— click and vote for Lush, if you think we’re better than the competition!

Lush beat out La Bamba in the preliminary rounds to get seated in the First Round against one of Beijing’s top restaurants, Maison Boulud. While they admittedly make an amazing burger, we’d like to think our in-house, ground beef in our homemade buns, with customizable toppings for (less than 1/3) the price of MB’s burger is quite an amazing deal to be had in our humble little city. So we’re asking for your vote! Following closely behind with 27 is Boobies on the Brink.
